Completed Project

Last week I had intended on putting up this finished project that Abby did for science. So I am going to add it to this weeks and feel much better about having a completed story!

In Abeka Science we are studying plants and learning the parts of each. She has learned about trees, corn, root vegetables and we finished with this flower.

Sand petals, pipe cleaner for the stem, yellow rice for the center, green rice for the leaves and sparkling pipe cleaners for the roots. She loved working with the different mediums and textures.

One last thing, through out all of the fall we are studying Autumn. Each week we are learning something new and adding information to our lapbooks and  unit studies. I found these wonderful snacks at the store and we just HAD to get them!
