Abby's 9th Bday!

It's amazing how quickly the little ones grow up! We just wrapped up Abby's 9th Birthday and we will begin Hali's in about a week. One of the nicest things about having the kids birthday's so close together is that I can get them out of the way and not stress about another one right around the corner.

This year we are not having any big parties. This is an unusual experience for my kids, but I explained to them that our biggest party will be Nick's graduation so they will just have to adapt.

The kids have elected to have a trip to the mall. This is okay by DH & I! All Abby wanted to do was "see the puppies" and buy some clothes. So in the typical Seaholm fashion we all piled into the car and headed to the mall. Please take note, Abby is trying to convince DH that she needs a new dog. Megan, who is almost 15 is old and lazy. We cannot bring another dog into the house as long as she is alive. It simply wouldn't be fair. So we have embraced the idea of researching the breeds, talking to sale people and interacting with the different dogs.

On Abby's B-day we went to 3 pet shops and was able to experience 9 different breeds.

The Happy Birthday girl!

This little beauty will eat up a whole house!

This little fatty was my favorite so far!

This gypsy tried to get me to buy a $300 curling Iron. I think NOT!

Abby sporting her new winter sweater and her beautiful curls!

Abby and Aaron making faces like the bear.

Abby and Razia at the third pet store.

This little collie was precious but a little too imbred.

Lastly, this little guy was a lover. He would just sit in your arms and lick you to death.
Additional note: We took Abby to both Toys R Us and Target to pick out her own gift. She said that Toy's R Us was lame, there were no good toys there. When we went to Target, she searched and searched for something she wanted. We finally found a easel that has a chalk board one one side, dry erase on the other. It has clips to hold paintings. She has immensely enjoyed this, spending hours being creative! Best of all, it was on clearance.
Happy B-day princess Abby! You are such a treasure!
